But there has been some that have redempted themselves. That's not even a word, redeemed.

My understanding of redemption is like you're done fucked up something at some point, and everybody kind of knows about that, and then you're back to right your wrongs or whatever. So it made made sense for some of the returnees. Brooke, I was like, what's she redeeming? Yeah, she's always done really well.

Simon made the most sense because he gets dumb himbo edit every season, and that's why we love him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, so he actually had the most room for a redemption. Absolutely. Which I would say he did get fire. But then they also trolled him on the way out still, which I love, by him being like, Oh, I'm gonna give a passionate spooch. I'm hanging up my buff.

You know, he's great as a contestant, yeah, was a bit unsure about him being a host, and you know, still my love for JLP. Yes. However, Daddy Dave, I'm here for it. I'm here for it. That was back when the casting, let's be real, season one or season whatever, the the first 10 season, the c that was back when the casting was a little bit mateship era, as I call it, where everyone's like, oh, I'm gonna win with loyalty and honour, and everyone at home is just like Fuck and shoot me now. So and she was obviously just there because she was incredibly hot. Yeah. Um, but yeah, so I was a bit like, oh, she's an a mateship era.

And then back in 2020, for was it All Stars? Yeah, I was like, I'm on the fence, I'm on the fence, you're a very good player. This time round, fuck me, rooting for her, slightly wanting her to win, finding her more relatable to me because I'm a bit older than her, but now that she's sort of in her 30s and that she is a mum, and I'm just like, oh our values are actually more aligned than I think that they are. And yeah, kind of wanted her to go even further than she did. So yes, spoiler alert. You and us all jumped in.

And that's why I'm so enjoying her so much on this season, because literally, especially with who we've got left now, she was kind of the only person in that final five that was playing the fucking game.

Yeah, normally we get probably one or two too many, and the fans hate it. This year, there was a little bit, but it was just not crazy. And this is a good one where it's like it's a little bit different from just planning an idol. Yeah, it makes people have to work across alliances, talk to each other. Yeah, well done. Love the half idol twist. Agreed. Did I love how it turned out? Absolutely not, but we'll get to that later. But Sally finds it. Um, and remember at this point, Brooke's got hers, but people don't really know yet about the half thing. So Cameron saw her find it. That's right. And the power there is that he doesn't know it's half.

Uh, and then we get ideas are flowing, but this is and this was my criticism of this episode. It was pretty clear to me what was gonna happen from the very start. Yeah. And then they kind of like cut in all these like ideas, and Brooke wasn't buying them, I wasn't buying them. I was just kind of like, I don't know.

That she was a statue, she was not moving. I was so impressed.
